First Jamaican recording studio open in 1951 "Mento Music" it play mostly (folk dance music). Before this time Jamaican didn't have a radio station people had to lesion to music from the United States from New Orleans. They would lesson to jazz, r&b and rock music the USA. Poor African people from Jamaican that could not afford a band for their party, had to content them self with these "sound system" also know as disc jockey.
Soon this was picking up all over Jamaican and became a social
commentary in the 1960s and as the year went by this form of music was transfer into day reggae.
The word i had to identified was "Reggae" and describe in a 30 second video. In the 1960s Jamaica identify a ragged a style of dance music. The very first song that had a reggae feel came out in 1968 by an artist Tosts that song was Do the Reggae. Reggae mixed the beat of ska with the more mobile bass lines of rock. Jamaican have slang in their reggae lyrics the could be imported and help you under stand what their talking about. when you hear the word "Jah" they are talking about their god and "Ganja is slang for marijuana.
Reggae took off when the legend Bob Marley came around in the 70s. His style of lyrics talked about love, peace, power and religion. Bob, was in a group called the Wailers. In 1972 on there first album they released the song called I Shot the Sheriff that has history behind it. The title means cop-killer at this time that song was the number one hit in Jamaican. In (1973) the necks big song was No Woman No Cry. This man Bob Marley, was a reggae super start love writing reggae music there was never a bad song he wrote over 300 songs until his young death from cancer in 1981.
In my video i choose the number one hit by legend Bob Marley I Shot the Sheriff. He is also my favorite sing of all times so this Assignment was essayer because i knew a lot about the back around already. I used the program photoshop and edited photo and transfer them into after affect. I use many elements through out my video that could relate to Jamaican giving you hits that's it has a reggae feel to it. I used the Jamaican flag many simbly such as drums a lion exc. The raggae colors are red, green, yellow so i try to use the in my video. Also you will see my hero come and go through out the video. Some times I wish I could see how far Bob would make it if he was still around to day. After affect is a very hard but fun program at the same time. you will see as the video gose on i start to use effect and have more fun with the work. I also wanted to have thing that match the song and try to match the beats.
I would like to thank you picking reggae for me to do it was a lot of fun was i would have to say this is work in prograss.

Unity of Elements -panel 5

panel 5
Here we were able to use all the design elements to presented in a unified composition.
I added a couple skull in the back round to give u a hint about my word forensic anthropology. I used the opacity tool to make it look as it blends with the back round. Then by using the ink outlines it defines the skull even more. I also used the warp tool to mess with the size and the way it looks.
Over all i wanted this last piece to look very abstract to the viewer , that different elements are coming at you. I hope out of all these design the word forensic anthropology clicks in your head.

Panel 3-
In panel 3 we had to make a pattern here i took a picture of my car seat because the pattern on it look very abstract to me. at the top left the pattern go across the screen making u fallow your down the page. By exposure the pattern it pops out the Patten more then ever.
I started to stain the teeth, used the ink outlines to make the teeth look older. Dropping shadow around the teeth to still keeps your eye on the teeth.

Panal 4:
I had to develop an enviromental design useing interior and exterior view of a spatially active structure from past, present or future.
I used a triad color scheme from the twelve hue color system. the colors i used were blue, red orange and yellow orange.
In this piece i added the background of an aquarium and put the fish coral in the background. In the forground I use the old and that is the parent in panal one. the perportional is a little off but i wanted the viewer to still see the figer of my from panal one.
